Our Story
Greenvas is a homegrown solution, born and bred in County Durham. Our story begins with our founder, who grew up surrounded by social workers and mental health professionals.
Our founder took that passion and ran with it, working in supported accommodations right here in County Durham for over a decade. They quickly saw how the lack of purpose-built technology was holding these vital services back. Managers spent countless hours grappling with disjointed systems and complex compliance issues, time they could have spent delivering the care their residents deserved.
After gaining extensive insights from Durham County Council on what support accommodations truly need to thrive, they set out to build the necessary tools—refusing to settle for the status quo. Over countless late nights, the first version of Greenvas began to take shape. Our founder tested and refined the platform in real support accommodations across County Durham, learning and iterating with each new challenge.
The result is a solution that doesn't just work in theory – it's been battle-tested on the front lines. Greenvas has helped transform the way local support accommodations operate, empowering managers to focus on delivering exceptional care.
